E3 Tuesday Recap: Nintendo Smashes It
Tuesday marked the last day for E3 2018 press conferences and Nintendo was the only company left. About half their show focused entirely on the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but there were a few non-Smash surprises sprinkled throughout.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Ultimate stole the show on Tuesday. The announcement of Ridley as a playable character alongside every other character in the franchise’s history is all anyone is talking about, but you can read about the other changes coming to the game as well in our full breakdown.

Fortnite
The ultimate battle royale has officially landed on the Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 — Torna: The Golden Country
This new DLC is set long before the events of the main game and should be a hit for fans of Xenoblade lore.

Daemon X Machina
Daemon X Machina is a third-person mech fighter and it looks incredible. Plus, it’s always nice to see new IPs on a console that is so laden with established franchises.

Super Mario Party
The party is back on with Super Mario Party for the Switch.

Overcooked 2
It’s back to the kitchen for this sequel to the co-op cooking game that tested relationships all over the world.

Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight is by no means a new game, but it’s another new port for the Switch. And if you’re a fan of Metroidvania games and haven’t played this one, then you’re in for a treat.

A Loaded Sizzle Reel
Nintendo spent so much time on SSB Ultimate that they didn’t have a chance to focus on some of the other great games coming to the Switch later this year. Luckily, they finished the presentation with a nice sizzle reel packed with titles that we just can’t wait to get our hands on.
