E3 Monday Recap: Sony, Ubisoft and Square Enix
Monday had a few highs and its fair share of underwhelming moments. From the cringey opening of Ubisoft’s press conference to nearly nine minutes of Death Stranding, here’s your Monday E3 games recap.
Death Stranding
Another long trailer and we’re still not entirely sure what this game is about, but we seriously can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Spider-Man
The latest gameplay footage gives us a good look at what combat will look like and introduces us to more than a few villains.

Ghost of Tsushima
Sucker Punch has a really beautiful looking game on there hands with this one, not to mention the incredibly smooth looking gameplay.

The Last of Us: Part II
Ellie is back and somehow this sequel looks even better than the original.

Kingdom Hearts III
Square Enix had the opportunity to blow everyone away with KH3, instead they showed mostly stuff we’ve already seen and disappointed everyone in the process

Deracine
A new VR title created by FromSoftware? Sign us up, even though the trailer really didn’t reveal much of anything.

Just Dance 2019
Ubisoft spent the first five minutes of their presentation on a dance number for this game and it really missed the mark. As for the game itself, not much was revealed, but it’ll probably be just like all of its predecessors.

Beyond Good and Evil 2
A young Jade is back for this prequel to Ubisoft’s space exploration game.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
Set in Washington, DC seven months after the NYC virus, The Division 2 takes you down a new path. The virus has nearly wiped itself out and now the biggest threat to humanity is itself.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle: Donkey Kong Adventure
One of last year’s surprise hits adds the DK Crew to its roster. We’re only sad they didn’t include the Donkey Kong rap.

Skull & Bones
Set on the Indian Ocean in a shared world, Skull & Bones looks a lot like AC: Black Flag if you strip away the Assassin’s Creed part.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas
All that matters here is that Ubisoft managed to finagle something with Nintendo so that they could feature Star Fox as a playable character in the Switch version of the game.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey
If you were a fan of Origins, then this is probably just what you were looking for in a new Assassin’s Creed game. And this time around, you can even choose the character you play the game as. Odyssey is set in Ancient Greece and features a pretty spectacular looking environment.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider
The Square Enix presentation featured some cool new gameplay and showed off a particularly brutal Lara Croft

The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit
It’s not the Life Is Strange sequel that many people expected, but this new game from Dontnod is set in the expanded Strange universe and is said to have some direct relevance to Life Is Strange 2.

The Quiet Man
An new IP from Square Enix, The Quiet Man is a story-driven title featuring a deaf man who is quite good at fighting. The company promised to unveil more in August.

Control
From the dev team that brought you Alan Wake and Quantum Break, this supernatural action-adventure is one of the most intriguing new IPs we’ve seen so far.
