E3 Weekend Recap: Halo, Elder Scrolls, Fallout and More

If you weren’t paying attention over the weekend, you missed some incredible E3 moments. Here’s a quick recap of all the most important announcements so far…

Halo Infinite

Master Chief is back and he’s coming to PC as well as Xbox.

Release date: TBA

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

The new game from Respawn is set between Episodes 3 and 4 and will have you playing as at least one Jedi.

Release date: Holiday 2019

Unravel Two

You get a yarn buddy in Unravel Two, but you won’t be able to play with any real life buddies on the Switch since the game is only available on Xbox, PC, and PS4.

Crackdown 3

The long awaited Crackdown 3 is nearly here and Terry Crews is as fantastic as always.

Release date: February 2019

Metro: Exodus

Awesome weapons? Check. Mutated creatures? Check. Grit? Check. Intriguing story? Check. Exodus has all the makings of another great Metro game.

Release date: February 22, 2019

Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon 4 looks as beautiful as you’d expect and it’s adding dynamic seasons and a shared open world to take gameplay to an all new level.

Release date: October 2, 2018

The Division 2

Set in Washington, DC seven months after the NYC virus, we’ll likely be seeing more of this sequel at Ubisoft’s press conference.

Release date: March 15, 2019

Devil May Cry 5

Nero is back for Devil May Cry 5 and the game is filled with the series’ signature blend of high-octane stylized action and “otherworldly and original characters.”

Release: Spring 2019

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course

This DLC is set to feature a new playable character, a new location, new bosses, new weapons and more.

Release date: 2019

Dying Light 2

Not much was revealed about this sequel, besides the fact that you’ll be killing more zombies in an intense acrobatic manner.

Just Cause 4

You know what the Just Cause universe was missing? A tornado. Luckily, Just Cause 4 appears to be full of tornado action.

Release date: December 4, 2018

Gears of War 5

Kait Diaz and Marcus Fenix return for another installment of the gritty Microsoft franchise, but 5 wasn’t the only Gears announcement at E3. A mobile game called Gears Pop was also announced featuring Funko Pop versions of your favorite Gears characters.

Cyberpunk 2077

We finally got a new look at the long-awaited game from CD Projekt Red and it looks like everything we ever dreamed of.

Release date: TBA

Wolfenstein Youngblood

Youngblood has you playing as the twin daughters of B.J. Blazkowicz and you’ll be killing Nazis in 1980s Paris. What more could you ask for?

Release date: 2019

Fallout 76

An online multiplayer Fallout is the dream for many fans of the series. Read more in our full breakdown.

Skyrim: Very Special Edition

Starfield

A new IP being developed by Bethesda for NEXT-GEN consoles. You read that right, we know almost nothing about Starfield except that Bethesda is already getting ready for the PS5(?) and Xbox Two(?).

The Elder Scrolls VI

It’s coming. Finally. What do we know about it? Almost nothing. But it is coming.
