PS Plus and Xbox Live Free Games for December
PS Plus and Xbox Live Free Games for December
December’s free games for Xbox and PlayStation owners are a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a couple interesting titles, but for the third or fourth month in a row, neither console brought anything really exciting to the table.
It’s unfortunate and a little surprising that they wouldn’t use this time of year to show off some cool games and push people towards their services around the holidays, but such is life. There’s also a noticeable lack of indie games from Xbox in particular, especially considering that indie games were arguably the most interesting parts of the free games for the last couple months.
You can see all of this month’s free console games below.

By the way, in PlayStation’s blog post about this month’s free games, they say that Darksiders “is instantly playable and sure to make this a Deathcember to remember.” We’re fairly certain that the sole reason that this game is on the list is so that they could use that pun.
