Epic Games is suing a kid for cheating in their wildly popular battle royale title, Fortnite. And now the his mom is ready to put up a fight.
Caleb Rogers (Sky Orbit) is the 14-year old gamer and streamer named in the suit and suffice it to say, his mom isn’t happy. She recently sent a scathing letter to the judge presiding over the case. In the letter, which you can read in its entirety here, Lauren Rogers bashes Epic Games for naming her son in the suit.
We all knew that it would be a wild transition into the new season, but there were certain expectations. Everyone expected Bjergsen to stay with TSM, Sneaky and Jensen to stay with C9, and Aphromoo to stay with CLG. But with Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black announcing his departure from CLG, it marks the end of one of the longest partnerships in League of Legends history.
Now, Aphromoo has been signed by 100 Thieves and his former team is bidding him a fond farewell.
According to a new study from professors at Purdue University, there was a 28 percent increase in traffic crashes near PokéStop locations in the approximately five months after the game first launched. The study, which focused on a single county in Indiana, also found that at least two of the crashes resulted in fatalities. When you extrapolate the study’s data, it’s possible that Pokémon Go may have resulted in upwards of 150,000 traffic crashes, 250 deaths and billions of dollars in damages nationwide.
